Westmorland and Furness Council is bringing the thrill of cycling, skating, and scooting to communities this May with the launch of three pop-up pump tracks in South Lakeland, Eden, and Furness.

May sees the return of Living Streets campaign for National Walking Month

March saw the return of ‘Feet First’, Active Cumbria’s popular five-day challenge for primary schools across the county.

Westmorland and Furness Council has been awarded ring-fenced funding to support new schemes that will encourage people in Barrow, Kendal and Penrith to choose active travel for everyday journeys.

Cumberland Council welcomes the award of over £1.3 million for active travel, securing vital investment to enhance walking, wheeling, and cycling infrastructure across the Cumberland area.
