A Summer of Fun with Travel Actively
Travel Actively Barrow are proud to announce not one, but two incredible events coming to the streets of Barrow this summer!
Following the popular event last July, Walk This Way Festival is returning for a second outing but this time bigger and better! From 20 July 2026, join the team for a week long celebration of walking. Social strolls, treasure hunts, disco dancing and more we are giving the community of Barrow the chance to enjoy walking in whichever form suits them best. Let us show you how to incorporate fun into your daily walks and put the spring into your daily steps! Over the course of seven days we will be hosting many different walks suitable for all ages and abilities, completely free of charge to join! Walk This Way Festival: 20 - 26 July 2026
Not forgetting about our other passion, Travel Actively Barrow are proud to present Barrow's Big Bike Week! Coming to you in August, this six day festival invites the people of Barrow to take part in a variety of cycling activities. Guided rides, confidence sessions, ramps, spin classes and so much more, this event truly has something for everyone. Novice riders and seasoned pros are all invited to celebrate the freedom of jumping on a bike and feeling the wind in your hair! The Big Barrow Bike Week: 17 - 23 August 2026
